9Aus is a platform that lets you view market data and interact with cryptocurrency trading features. We are not a registered investment adviser, broker-dealer, bank or financial planner. Information on the Service (including market data, charts, articles and educational materials) is for general informational purposes only and is not personal financial, investment, legal or tax advice.

You are solely responsible for evaluating whether any transaction is suitable for you, based on your own circumstances, objectives, experience and risk tolerance. Consider consulting an independent, qualified professional before making any financial decision.

2. Market risk & volatility

Cryptocurrency prices can move sharply — sometimes by tens of percent — within minutes. There is no central authority that supports cryptocurrency prices, and a digital asset can lose all of its value at any time. Past performance is not indicative of future results.

3. Liquidity risk

Some markets may have low trading volume, wide bid-ask spreads or limited buyers and sellers. You may not be able to enter or exit a position at the price or time you want, especially during volatile periods.

4. Technology & cybersecurity risk

• Blockchains, wallets and smart contracts can contain bugs, vulnerabilities or design flaws.
• Transactions on a blockchain are typically irreversible. A mistake in an address or amount may cause permanent loss.
• Like any online service, 9Aus may be the target of cyberattacks, phishing, social engineering or service interruptions.
• You are responsible for protecting your password, 2FA device, email account and any wallet credentials.

5. Operational risk

The Service may experience downtime, delays, errors or scheduled maintenance. Orders, deposits, withdrawals and other actions may be delayed, fail or be cancelled. 9Aus is currently in beta, which means features may change, behave unexpectedly or be temporarily unavailable.

6. Counterparty & custody risk

Where 9Aus holds digital assets on your behalf as ledger balances, you are exposed to counterparty risk: in adverse scenarios (insolvency, regulatory action, security breach, force majeure) you may not be able to recover all of your assets. You should not deposit more than you are willing to lose.

7. Regulatory & legal risk

Cryptocurrency regulation is evolving and varies between jurisdictions. New laws or enforcement actions may, at any time and without notice:

• Restrict or prohibit your use of the Service or specific digital assets.
• Impose new tax, reporting or compliance obligations on you.
• Force changes to or termination of the Service in your country.

You are responsible for understanding and complying with the laws and tax rules that apply to you.

8. Leverage & advanced products

If the Service makes leveraged products, derivatives, margin trading or similar advanced features available, those products amplify both gains and losses and can result in losses greater than your initial deposit. Do not use them unless you fully understand how they work and the risks involved.

9. Fraud, scams & phishing

Beware of:

• Anyone claiming to be 9Aus staff and asking for your password, 2FA codes or seed phrases — we will never ask for these.
• "Guaranteed profit", "double your crypto", "recovery agent" or "investment manager" offers using our name.
• Look-alike domains, fake apps, and emails from non-9aus.com addresses.

10. Tax

You are solely responsible for determining what taxes apply to your transactions and for reporting and paying them. 9Aus does not provide tax advice.

11. No guarantee

Nothing in the Service, in any communication from us, or in any third-party content presented through the Service, is a promise or guarantee of any return, profit, outcome, price movement, security or uptime.

12. Acknowledgement

By using the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood and accepted this Risk Disclosure together with our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, and that you are using the Service entirely at your own risk.
